What's News?

News is such a downer, don't you think? There's all this horrible stuff going on all over the world, and the news media feels that it's their job to bring it all to us. The worse the news is, the better the story is for them.

Wouldn't it be nice to get a more balanced view of things, and occasionally hear about the events that aren't happening in the world, too?

I now present to you:

What's News?
Where No News ... is Good News

Hi ChetChat, sad times indeed. :0(

Good call with the post. We have to make a difference and regain the inbalance of bad news. The world is a changing, thats for sure and we need to keep as +ve as possible and smell the flowers while we still can. Peace. Keep on blogging.

"... a comedy on the floor": Er ..... what floor? Or is this just an observation that no joke is too low for me?

Bill Guy: I just viewed your No News is Good News video. I gotta admit I was more than a bit baffled that there wasn't even a single mention of no news regarding Iraq, Afghanistan, Donald Trump, Rosie O'Donnell, or Paris Hilton. From now on I'm getting no news from other sources.

"... no news from other sources":

Thanks for the observation, but have no fear; What's News will venture anywhere in the world and report on anything or anyone in an effort to bring you no story whatsoever.

But the fact is that places like Iraq and Afghanistan have a complete lack of no news at this time, so there is nothing that we can't say about the situations there.

Celebrities, on the other hand, are all about nothing, and would therfore be perfect subjects. However, other news programs already do a brilliant job of saying quite a lot about nothing at all, and thus we at What's News have nothing to add at this time.

I am rushing to cancel my NYT subscription - why waste my money there when I can not get the news straight from the horse's mouth? Neigh, neigh
